Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an Oriental form of body-work that "uses hand pressure and manipulative techniques to adjust the body's physical structure and its natural inner energies, to help ward off illness, and maintain good health." (from Paul Lundberg's "The New Book of Shiatsu")

Each treatment begins with a consultation to determine which meridians (the body's internal energy pathways) require focus at that moment and the whole session lasts around an hour.

Mark is available to work by appointment at his therapy space in Westcliff-on-Sea and is fully insured to deliver competent Shiatsu as a student, having completed the foundation year of a 3-year Practitioner's Diploma Course with the Shiatsu College London.
